Vandy isn't much, but a 30 point win over a SEC team(even Vandy) is no small accomplishment and yes, I am saying ECU is good.
Memphis would beat La Tech too.
In your dreams.
I have no interest in playing LaTech...not an insult...but we have history with USM, MTSU, and UAB.
We have no interest in playing Memphis either - rather play Ark State since they have a much better program
Very true. I'm not sure how the Memphis fan even read into our comments that we wanted to play Memphis. Other than an easy "W" for LA Tech, we don't need it.

Well, since I live in DALLAS, it's not very slow. Regardless, "here you are", on OUR CUSA board, trying to convince people here that Memphis is important. Nobody here is gonna believe it.
By the way, where did you Memphis guys get those cement blocks you wore in your game the other night against Temple? 16 points!! Wow! That kind of point production will get your ass whipped here in CUSA.

lol, I've been on this board a lot longer than you, friend...and I'm not leaving now...moreover, Memphis and MTSU fans were having a nice, civil, discussion before the Tech fans decided to drop trou and show their asses.
as for comments on Temple, I've already said: at what point do folks stop blaming the other team, and start giving credit to Temple's tough D?

Well, let's put aside the fact that I'm not your friend. And your school is history in this conference. Besides all that, anytime you run your mouth about LA Tech, you can expect a return volley. Furthermore, the only reason we drop trou is to let you kiss our asses.
Oh yes...."middle of the pack" Temple is so good, they scored a whopping 13 points the other night. It's Temple. It's the same school that was kicked OUT of the Big East a few years back. Just listen to yourself.......

Only a defensive techster would take anything I've said as "you run your mouth about LA Tech" lol
Last I looked, Temple has a good shot at making a bowl, so I doubt the give a @&$? about what some tech fan thinks of them.

The only east team I've predicted would beat Tech is Marshall, which I stand by.
since my previous post got deleted....we are all happy that YOU stand in front of the mirror, pat yourself on the back, and stroke that thing.....
You're previous post got unapproved for content and this is a friendly reminder not to discuss moderation issues in public.
Now in regards to this gem of a post, I didn't bring up my prediction to pat myself on the back or do whatever else you've apparently been picturing me doing, I only brought it up in response to the Tech fan who scoffed at me saying Memphis would beat them and tried to bring up MT fans predicting they'd lose to east teams, which may have happened, but it wasn't me. Tech has a very good team and very well may be the 2nd best team in the conference, but they aren't beating Marshall and I stand by Memphis being better as well.
there is no way that your statement proves true 10/10, 20/20, 30/30 etc.....
I've seen them both now.....should be a pretty damn good game and would set the number at MU -6 if it plays out that way....
edit: and I'm happy for UM fans....it's been awhile for them being able to smile about football.....they deserve it....
I think that the MTSU game was one of our best physical efforts thus far. It was early in the season and we surprised a lot of people with our ability to move the ball. Our defense shouldn't surprise anyone based on decent play last year, but the offense, particularly at QB should have.
There was a little bit of surprise and we got the Blue Raiders back on their heels early and it took them several series of downs to recover. If I remember correctly, we had the ball for about 10 minutes of the first quarter.
If we were to play the Blue Raiders 10 times, I'd look for the Tigers to win 7-8 of them?????? (just a guess) Everybody now understands that the Tigers are at least a legitimate FBS team that can compete; which hasn't been the case recently. Therefore, other teams are now properly prepared for a hard fought game against a legitimately decent/good team and our game against Temple, who is also a legitimate FBS team that's pretty good and well prepared, reflected that.
(and I know that all coaches and players will say that they were properly prepared and expected a tough game, but when a program has suffered like we have recently, your players see the name on the jersey and react accordingly)
