Actually people can rank teams how they want in this opinion thread :). Nah but seriously this conference is crazy!

That's not entirely true. I get some crazy ballots each week and do count them. But things get resolved with the majority casting their honest opinions. Ranking the AAC by easiest schedule is mockery of what the poll is intended to show. It's amazing to hear anyone complain about how the media or coaches rank people when you guys do this crap. If you all want to act like children, go for it. I can quit doing the poll.

I think you're the one being unreasonable. It's an OPINION poll. Of course it's your poll, so you can throw out whatever you want, but if you quit, someone else will do it now.

I'm not being unreasonable at all. Yes, it is an opinion poll. But it is one's opinion of the body of work done up to this point and ranking teams accordingly...just like the media and coaches polls are supposed to be done. That's not being done by ranking by easiest schedule or bad losses (by the way, SMU would be number one there as all of their losses were expected and none were WTF because they were expected to be beaten in the fashion they were). It is NOT an opinion poll on ranking the teams with easiest remaining schedule (thing that haven't happened yet). That kind of approach is a mockery of the poll's intent. But whatever. That's fine. We can do things the teenage way. You put **** for data in...you're gonna get **** for data as a result.

ONE GUY did that, and it wasn't me. Relax, dude. You're the one who started this opinion poll, but you want to control how those opinions are formed. If that guy had just posted his rankings and not explained his thought process, you would have never known the difference, b/c if you look at his rankings, they are reasonable.

1. Memphis (no WTF losses)
2. Cincinnati (no WTF losses)
3. Houston (1 WTF loss OOC)
4. ECU (one WTF loss to Temple)
5. UCF (one WTF loss to UConn)
6. Temple
7. USF
8. UConn
9. Tulsa
10. Tulane
11. SMU

Five of us have the same conference record. That factor is one of the biggest ones the NCAA selection committee for basketball uses every year: good wins and bad losses. Not funny at all, unless you are ignorant of that process.

Don't jump on me and call me ignorant, read my post again, I agree with your logic, I just enjoyed the calling it WTF losses instead of bad losses. Now say you are sorry.

We lost only 1 game ever in the AAC and that was in 40 degree temps in the rain. It it my personal opinion so it is worth as much as your opinion.

Ya and your opinion has Uconn ahead of a team that beat them...not that your opinion has bias or anything.

Starting to remind me of the end of last year's basketball season--Louisville was 2-0 against SMU which was 2-0 against UConn which was 2-0 against Memphis which was 2-0 against Louisville.

Memphis was not even in the mix. Memphis was zero and two against the Cincinnati Bearcats and UC split vs. Louisville, UConn and SMU. Which is why UC was co-conference champion and Memphis was what--5th?

My point was not that Memphis was contending for a conference basketball championship then.

My point was that it was a competitive season, and remarkably similar to this football season in that sense.

I left Cincy out because the four teams I listed all went 2-0 or 0-2 against each other.

btw--yes, Louisville and Cincy were co-champs, and Memphis, SMU, and UConn were tied for the 3rd spot.

You can't use just 1 game to measure the whole season. Hell Houston lost to UTSA which is a bad team in the C-USA.

UCF beat Houston
Temple beat ECU
UCF beat Temple
Memphis got beat by Houston
Tulane beat Uconn

Considering Uconn only has 1 FBS win, they don't deserve a ranking above UCF's. I think they are getting better and should hopefully be ok next year, they are still at the bottom this season. Wins and Losses prove that one.

If anything use the Real Time RPI which has ECU #1 and UCF #2.

Again it is an opinion poll so who really cares.
