I remember a Big East game at UConn, some years ago, where USF tied them in regulation, but lost in OT. I think at the time UConn had won over 80 games in a row at home. So, perhaps GA also remembers that nailbiter.

I think we might have a better team this year than back then, so we might give him another scare. LOL

I happened to be standing in front Gampell (sp?) arena in 2010 when the Uconn women's basketball arrived under police escort from their national championship tournament win. The bus pulled up and there were more regional television reporters in attendance than there were fans to greet them. They had some kind of ceremony inside the arena, which was attended by maybe 200 people. I was stunned by the complete lack of interest by the Uconn student body. You'd think the LGBT crowd would have shown up...?
