Yeah, but then you'd have the players coming out and saying the more games they play, the more likely they are to be injured and hurt their NFL chances. FCS players aren't as likely to go pro, so it works for them.

Cut out the POINTLESS 1-AA game. Cut the season short to 11 games. Make playing 1-AAs go away....finally

At the end of the day, I think almost all reasonable Marshall fans will root for ECU in an Access Bowl and the same for ECU fans if it's Marshall. It's just that right now, we're simply both trying to make every possible argument we can as to why our team deserves the slot.

If you don't think the P5 isn't actively building a structure inherently dedicated to keeping the G5 down, you are putting your head in the sand. The BCS was no different.
