RE: ECU @ Temple
I'm impressed by the way Temple went from basically forcing no turnovers last year to being one of the most prolific at forcing them this year. Any one game can be an anomaly, but they've been forcing turnovers in droves most of the year.

And I concur with the thoughts of many: I only rooted against ECU for my own vested interest. I still hold great respect for that program. If we aren't competing against each other, directly or indirectly, I pull for ECU.

I can go back to doing that now. I think. Who knows with "The Committee" in charge these days.

I agree. Temple has only scored because of ECU turnovers.

Temple is not a good team at all. Even an ECU team playing poorly should be able to get the W in 4 quarters.

Lol yeah bro? You're a Charlotte fan

Do you think we stop at 100 on Charlotte or keep going?

Doesn't change my opinion of Temple, still don't think they are very good. ECU has been falling apart for the last 4 weeks, don't think their team was handling the pressure very well. Take that, neutralize the talent differential with a little bad weather, and you end up with a result like yesterday.

I know ECU's performance matters a great deal to Marshall but it's still hard to believe there is a 100+ post thread on cusabbs about an ECU/Temple game.

At least our players can read.

So you made your way to the CUSA board to brag about your win against Charlotte and to rehash about players who are obviously playing because they are fully qualified? Mission accomplished. You are world beaters! Congratulations.

Yes it did, at least in this instance. No argument from me on that.

I do have another opinion to share with you and this one definitely does not suck. You are a very needy person that is desperate for attention. A Temple fan deciding to go to the C-USA message board after winning an AAC game is pretty telling. At least the ECU fans were recently in our conference. 01-wingedeagle

Temple won fair and square. Like it or not they will be bowling this year and they beat a good ECU team.

Pay no attention to that JHG character. Just a troll. One of ony 13 Temple fans across the country. I've seen pee wee football games have more fans in the stands than they did against a ranked ECU. With that kind of attendance they wont have to wait for another conference to kick them out, the NCAA will do it for them assuming the 15k rule is still in effect.

The fact that you're even opening the season on the road against us in a 15,000 seat stadium shows how little your administration thinks of your football team.

^ that doesn't make much sense...you want to be FBS or not? Don't complain when FBS teams play at your 15,000 seat stadium.

I'm not complaining. Just saying that a self respecting football program from a conference that likes to pretend it is a major conference wouldn't play a first year FBS team on the road in a 15,000 seat stadium.

I suppose 15,000 is about the right size for Temple though based on the games I've seen them in on TV.

I get you're trying to troll the Temple fan, but if youre going to be FBS, you have to play FBS teams...

Temple needs to build what Tulane just built...put it on 16th Street between Norris and Montgomery.

it cost 75 million in New Orleans, so say 99 million in Philly.

Everything in Philly is 3-4x the cost because of unions.
