Need some help from App fans.
My wife and I will be in Boone 11/8. While she is doing mind numbing girly shopping, I think I may attend the App/ULM game.
What time does the ticket booth open for a 3:30pm game? Any suggestions for sections with a good seat? Do the general admission sections typically sell out this season? Am I out of luck?
I've been to most stadiums in NC, but not Kidd Brewer so I'm looking forward to it. I really don't have a dog in the fight, but plan to wear black to the game.....state pride, ya know.

I can't say there is a bad seat in the house. East and west side general admission seating will be on the ends of each side of the stadium. I'd go for the upper deck on the east side. The seats between the 40's are booster and season tickets pretty much on both sides. The lower seating on the west side is pretty much students from end to end. End zone bleachers are students and band.
You can walk up a few hours before the game and buy a ticket. Just don't get grass seating. Could be wet or raining and they have an end zone view. You should have little trouble getting a general admission seat prior to the game.

Thanks much. Very helpful. Yeah, I'm too old for grass seating so I'll surely avoid that. Thanks for the warning. Looking forward to watching an App game in their first season of FBS.

Sad but true (for now). We will be back.
According to our website, the ticket booth opens 4.5 hours before kickoff, so 11:00 for the 3:30 game. I will echo the statement that there is not a bad seat in the house, but east side towards the middle (if available) is ideal.

There's still a good number of seats left for that game. Product of home games in back to back weeks.

Sit on the east side as that is the warmer side. The west side this time of year feels like you are in a concrete freezer. The only drawback is that the Woodlands BBQ concession is on the west side. It's usually worth the walk.

It will be "Black Saturday" at The Rock so you'll fit right in if you wear black.

I like Macado's located downtown on King Street, not too far from The Rock. It's more of a restaurant, but has a good bar and a lot of TV's to catch up on the early games. There are others....

Cool! When I retire (excuse me, if I retire), I'm just going to bounce around college stadiums. KBS is really cool. I'd like to go incognito some time because I would enjoy it a little more.

My suggestion is the Town Tavern. IMO best wings in town. It's at 208 Faculty St. (the street that runs behind Hardees) in the same building as Domino's. About a mile from the stadium.

tApp Room across the intersection of 321 and River Street from the Holmes Dome. Good food, atmosphere, and beer selection. #8 college bar in America according to USA Today.

It will be one-in-one-out by half time though. Especially with this weather.
