Final Record Projections for Each Sunbelt Team
Here are my final record projections for each sunbelt team, and the order in which they will finish in the Sunbelt:

1. Georgia Southern: 10-2 (8-0) wins out
2. Louisiana: 9-3 (8-0) wins out
3. Arkansas State: 9-3 (7-1) wins out
4. South Alabama: 6-6 (5-3) losses from ULL, stAte, USC, and Navy
5. Texas State: 6-6 (4-4) losses from GS, USA, and stAte
6. Louisiana Monroe: 5-7 (4-4) losses from TAMU, ULL, and GS
7. Appalachian State 4-8 (3-5) losses from ULM, stAte, and ULL
8. Troy 3-9 (3-5) losses from GS and ULL
9. New Mexico State 2-10 (1-7) loses out
10. Idaho 1-10 (1-7) loses out
11. Georgia State 1-11 (0-10) loses out

I think TXST beats USA but hard to argue with the rest. Also TXST will beat GS in San Marcos when they aren't expected to keep the spirit of 2005 alive.

I think State can beat App & Troy. So hoping for 3-9. I wouldn't be surprised with 1-11.
1 win would go with what Miles did at Indiana State:
1st year: 0 wins
2nd year: 1 win
3rd year: 6 wins
4th year: 6 wins
5th year: 7 wins

So if you told me we would win 6 next year, I'd be ok with losing out.

I don't think the Cajuns win out. We usually step in a trap somewhere along the line. A couple of years ago it was against the UNTs. Of course, they were already drawing power juice off C-USA with their pending move.

I can also see TXST beating GS or stAte then losing to GSU.

Idaho has at least 2 winnable games left on the schedule.

I would have been completely happy with six wins this year for Southern and that would be a great improvement for State. I see four, Liberty, UNCC, Troy and either UAB, Idaho or NMSU. IF NOTHING else beat Liberty....PLEASE....and take your time playing Oregon no reason to be in a rush.

Texas State loses 2 the rest of the season. Georgia State and stAte.

stAte because it's a weekday game, meaning theoretically more viewers, and we fold like origami.
Georgia State because there's a decent chance we have the "win and you go to a bowl" at which point we choke like slycat does to chickens.

I don't think y'all as a Broadway dependent. That gives you a cushion you didn't have last year.

That's an accurate observation in my opinion. I do believe the team is more mentally prepared in the event Broadway goes down and I think Haack would perform better as well. On top of that, Jalen Nixon is now eligible to play, even taking a few snaps against stAte.

We haven't forgotten about 2005. We'll be ready. Fritz has been to San Marcos before.

RE: Final Record Projections for Each Sunbelt Team
the next two weeks are the make or break point for the Red Wolves-South Al is the toughest remaining opponent for astAte, yet this insanely long trip to Idaho is no doubt a trap game. If the the pack can take care of business, I feel very confident they can win out; any trip up, particularly at Idaho, then I'm worried about a late season collapse, ala' steve roberts style.

I agree. Based on what I have watched from the SBC teams this season, Idaho will win at least one (maybe two) more this season. Troy at home, and Appy St. on the road are definitely winnable. Lets see how Idaho plays stAte at home too!
