Coming into his Sophomore season Adonis was #7 on NBAdreft.net if I remeber correctly.

Agree, unfortunately. For all the hype of his being a "program changer" prior to his arrival, he turned out to be a good, but not great, college player. However, I always felt like he had latent talent that he either would not, or could not, figure out how to show in his game.

If you look at draft history, very few players outside of the lottery ever make an impact, much less stay in the league for very long. NBA is the best of the best. It's also a different game. There is a long long list of really good, even great, college players that just didnt make it in the NBA. Unfortunately, many of these kids don't understand that and make the mistake of declaring early.
