It won't be easy for Temple to win two more games. The one winnable game for Temple is on the road. If Temple has a bowl game on the line I would favor them to beat Tulane the final game of the season. If they have lost 6 straight and have nothing to play for they could easily lose to Tulane.
P.J. Walker has to eliminate the mistakes for Temple to have a chance of going bowling.
This is the rest of Temple's schedule.

Cincinnati
at Tulane
This is one thing that ECU is, without a doubt, better than ANYONE in our conference at. We have a long history of making inept/struggling QBs (starters or back-ups...even third string QBs) look like Heisman candidates. Expect Walker to come out of the ECU game looking like the guy we saw last year.

I would love for BYU and Cincinnati to play in Miami. That would jump start the games in '15 and '16.
I would like that game as well and would probably attend. I'm just saying it could be a small factor in how things land.

Knowing they most likely can't pick Cincy the next 2 years could make them more likely to want you now IMHO.

RE: Which AAC team is going to what bowl game?
Military-ECU
St Pete-UCF
Birmingham-Memphis
Miami Beach-Cincinnati
Armed Forces-Houston
I think Temple is on the bubble. Getting to six wins isn't going to be easy with their schedule. The Owls are likely the least attractive team out of the American. The military bowl will probably select ECU if they are available and Cincinnati has better name value than Temple if comes down to those two for the last spot. There could be a few at-large bids out there that could change things.
Regarding ECU, right now they are the leader for the access bowl ( or at least until Tuesday night) but I expect them to pick up a loss. Sadly at the end of the day an undefeated Marshall or an 11-2 Boise State might get the nod over the American's champion.

RE: Which AAC team is going to what bowl game?
Miami Beach Bowl, Miami, Fla. – ECU vs. BYU (BYU must win 2 of their last 4 games to make a bowl which i think they will)
BBVA Compass Bowl, Birmingham, Ala. – UCF vs. South Carolina/Florida
Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, Annapolis, Md. – Memphis vs. NC/BC
Bitcoin Bowl St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Fla. – Cincy vs. at-large (ACC won't have enough to fill, 8*)
Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, Fort Worth, Texas – Houston vs. at-large (I think B12 won't have enough teams 6*)
Assume access bowl is out. I think Birmingham has the highest payout, followed by Military, Armed Forces, then Bitcoin. Miami unknown payout but AAC's main bowl. Temple would fill an at-large spot. There should be plenty.

Why wouldn't you want a bowl game in your backyard, against an ACC team?

I don't think ACC will have a team for the Bitcoin bowl. Plus its pays the least. (I know, conference shares the money but that is after expense$) Miami Beach bowl would be nice, party in South Beach, but not with BYU there. No rematches. ECU might take another bowl for a better matchup if they win the conference but get snubbed from the access. American will try their best to make the Miami beach bowl as successful as possible for year one.

ACC is on track to have a bunch of teams at 6-6 or better...I bet they fill the Bitcoin Bowl

bowl are likely picked by likely hood to sell out...
ucf isnt being put in the bbva with memphis cincy and ecu all likely bowl eligible... ucf likely stuck in st pete's, the same way houston is likely stuck in armed forces bowl
your bowl projection look more like what you want than what will actually happen
and for the armed forces bowl, everyone is think pac12/big10 who will likely have more bowl to fill than available..some think air force would be looked at if the mwc is over filled

Hoping for ECU in the Peach at this point.
I bet you that the Peach Bowl is hoping the same thing. We will bring a big crown to Atlanta.

Any bowl at this point. As bad as we have been recently, it is hard to really contemplate being able to go to one.

Are you going to lend us your QB?
IMO, we have a chance to be competitive/win another 3-4 games but even if we finish the year 5-7 it's a marked improvement over where we were two years ago with a lot of young players going into 2015. The level of enthusiasm will depend on how QB position shapes up. Mike White has all the tools....but not a reliable game day QB...yet. Bench is a your classic veteran backup that will likely give us our best chance to make a bowl...but he is not the future. The wildcard is Quenton Flowers who add some playmaking with his feet ...but that would require tinkering with the offense a little bit which is hard to do on the fly with such a young team.

I wouldnt say that the chances USF goes to a bowl are good but its not outside the realm of possibiity.
Houston is a wash. Houston has been nearly as BiPolar as USF has. If their bad team shows up against our good, then its a win. (USF 4-5)
SMU I think will be a win. They have the tools but something is broken (USF 5-5)
Memphis I see as a loss unless something really weird like our game vs Cinci last year. (USF 5-6)
and then comes UCF, which will always be a game we get up for. We nearly took them last year with easily the worst team we have ever put on the field... we just play harder that game. Anything could happen. I think our bowl eligibility will ride on that game. At least this year is on our home turf.

Damn..Please no to Saint Pete...
Can someone break down the prestige (from best to worst that isn't the Peach) ?
If UCF (If all goes our way), and wins out at least to be 2nd best in conference, what bowl would be best one to go to with the best talent?

I hear you but the cliche of one game at a time will serve us very well over the next 5 games.
We can beat or lose to any team onth schedule including MsU.

After the Peach there is no prestige... we have a pretty crappy bowl lineup.. and it wont matter. The second best team doesnt go to the second best paying bowl anymore. They look strictly at who will sell the most tickets to the bowl.
Payout wise I think it goes
Military
Birmingham
Armed Forces
St Pete
Miami the pay hasnt been set.

I don't think the AAC will fill all the bowls. You might see some trading with other conferences if that happens. I don't think the Big 12 fills all their slots either.

I'll take the Bit coin bowl if we have an acc team to play. Spent a ton of money lately going to Ireland and the BCS game.
