I wouldn't go that far, we can run the ball which favors us. However if they stack 8 in the box we still have to move the ball in these conditions. Special teams will be key, and we all know how App's have let them down throughout the year.

I'm thinking this one will be in the 28-10, 35-10 area.

That's cold. But not as cold as the reception he's getting in Boone today, I'm guessing.

I commend Georgia State for the helmets & logo, much better, please keep it that way now that we've established who the Real GSU is.

Lol...the GSU logo will be back next week or vs Clemson. Miles has a deal with a logo sticker company I think.

It does look better though, it certainly has this Real GSU fan's approval.

That logo, a little smaller, on a Blue helmet (I like to it with with a stripe down the middle to see what it looks like), white pants, blue jersey - THAT should be our standard uniform. Period.

RE: GaState at App State - Game Week Thread
Segment from SB Nation:

44

I called football "a sport of pretty small margins" above. There was nothing small about the margins in Appalachian State's 44-0 win over Georgia State. In snowy Boone, N.C., the Mountaineers pulled off a level of improbable domination that ... well, I can't describe it any better than the numbers can.

Total yards: Appalachian State 567, Georgia State 62.
Yards per play: Appalachian State 7.1, Georgia State 1.4.
First downs: Appalachian State 26, Georgia State 6.
Third/fourth down conversion rate: Appalachian State 61%, Georgia State 23%.
Time of possession: Appalachian State 38:40, Georgia State 21:20.
Sacks: Appalachian State 4, Georgia State 0.
Fumbles: Georgia State 5, Appalachian State 1.
Punts: Georgia State 7, Appalachian State 1.
Kickoffs: Appalachian State 7, Georgia State 1.
You're just not going to see a performance more dominating than this one. You might want to figure this playing-in-snow thing out at some point, GSU. You're going to be making regular trips to Boone.

The snow is being overstated. App would have won handily regardless of weather.

yeah. They would have just gotten 200 yards of offense instead of 60. Maybe 14 points.

That team has quit.
