RE: Best Running Back in Sun Belt?
McGuire is the better RB than Breida at this point. Could change, but McGuire is farther developed.

I like Breida and think he will be an excellent back, but its hard to compare statistics because McGuire shares rushing attempts with a Senior RB and QB, who wont be around next year.

I think breida is and will be a great RB but can he play QB and WR? I guess I meant to say all purpose player.

Best Running Back in Sun Belt?
Didn't know where else to post this, but I just saw in Twitter that the Krysten Hammen fella, RB formerly of GaSt, may be ending up at NDSU

Only other current sun belt player that I know of( in last 4 years), to be a freshman All-America was J.D. McKissic from Arkansas State.

RE: Best Running Back in Sun Belt?
let's be real here. No ULL fan has watched enough GS games, and no GS fan has watched enough ULL games to really have a solid idea of how good either RB is. Both fans will claim their guy is better because that is who they have watched all season.

You give me an offensive line and ONE RB, I'm picking an all purpose back, not a track star. It gets back to the system, let it go.

Breida is a bit more than a track star, but I agree you don't want a one tool guy as your only RB.

But then again if you only have one RB, you'll be Georgia State........

Of course every fan base wants their guy, but we both played USA and their coaches watched film on both of us, so we at least have one unbiased opinion from someone with football knowledge. This league had a lot of good backs, this league has put RB's in the nfl that are doing well, I see that trend continuing.

I'm no USA coach, but I thought McGuire was the better of the two.

I'm not saying which is better, because I have watched ULL play for all of about 3 quarters. I just found it amusing someone would you coach speak as a basis to claim something is true. Nick Saban said we were one of the hardest teams to prepare for all season in the post game conference. I guess that means he thought we were better than Auburn and the rest of the SEC right?

So I'm just supposed to go off of 2 fan bases pulling for their own guy? We don't run a gimmick offense, we should never have landed McGuire if his grades and classification weren't in question...McGuire had an offer from lsu, did breida? McGuire isn't a track star, he will run through you, break your ankles, drag you down the field, catch passes 45 yards down field, throw it... However you wanna take it from him. He was a freshman all american, not on a watch list... He was awarded something. Oh and he did that sharing the load with a doak walker watch list RB.
