LOL
Check the SBC stats. I think we either have 4 or 5 in the top 15. You guys went after Robert Davis and Donovan Harden went bonkers. Someone will go after both and Joel Ruiz or Lynquez Blair. By the way, Joel Ruiz is likely to be our highest drafted player ever.

Who is the better qb-- Bridge of USA or Arbuckle of Ga. State?
The USA games I've seen, Bridge's accuracy nosedives with any pressure. Arbuckle for sure.

He is much more accurate and for a smaller sized qb gets the ball down the field very well. He is also more elusive than Bridge in my opinion.
Other thoughts?
Arbuckle and it's not even close.
This is exactly what I said when reading the title. Not even close Arbuckle from the two games I witnessed. To be totally fair I think Arbuckle has better receivers but still big gap.

Someone could probably make a correlation of having great passing game numbers and playing catch up constantly but I'm too lazy/ don't care

Right, plus you can't rush your way out of a wet paper sack, thus the one dimension and its inflated #s. Thanks for the assist

Jeff Jagodzinski - GSU OC
OC Green Bay Packers(Hence Nick Farve) & HC Boston College(Matt Ryan)
Tim Lappano - GSU WR Coach
WR Coach Detroit Lions(Megatron) & Purdue Co-OC(Recruited and coached Drew Brees)
Trent Miles - GSU HC
WR Coach Green Bay, Stanford, Notre Dame, Washington
Looking at the staff... QB & WR should always be coached up on this squad. Not every day you have the Head Coach of Matt Ryan, the OC of Brett Farve and Drew Brees under the same roof.
Now that whole defense thing... welp. Need a little help.

Then the same could be said for the rushing numbers of Southern.

I'd say playing y'all inflated our rushing numbers mostly. But secondly, yeah we have been trying to milk clock on 2-3 score leads not trying to scratch our way back into games... Not because we can't throw.
I've already spent more time on the topic than its worth. Peace.

Because you are a glutton for punishment I'll humor you.
I would "imagine" it would look remarkably like Saturday seeing as though we were blowing up your boy 4 yards deep in the backfield. Bo Jackson circa 1985 wouldn't have helped you. But hey, gif's and all.

So our lack of a defense reflects negatively on our offense and transitively on our QB.
...or...you hate GSU and refuse to admit he is the best QB in the conference...

I never said he wasn't?
I mean he is probably the best in conference, but only has Bridge as the main competition. I wasn't real impressed with him (Bridge) to say the least. He is probably the best QB by a nice margin, if thats saying anything though.
You were crowing about how many in the top 15 Wrs yall had (that one guy number 9 is a burner, solid player), and I simply pointed out it would be hard not to when you are trailing all the time and attempting 45+throws a game.
I have already spent WAY more time on the subject that its worth.

There's more to a running game than a stud RB.

Both are good quarterbacks, no doubt, but are different in their style of play, plus Arbuckle has a nice touch. Georgia State's WRs are playing better than South's are right now, IMO.
