As long as its not SEC team vs. and In-state school in an SEC bowl game they aren't gonna care. Besides, we need them to not have a team fill the Indy or Birmingham slots so we can play an ACC or AAC team. But you are right about one thing, these bowl games will never happen outside an access bowl:

4. Texas A&M vs. any Texas school

They may play us at their place early in the season, but a neutral site with much fanfare ain't gonna happen.

I disagree. The Texas P5 teams have made a habit of playing many of the old SWC teams now in the G5 (Rice, SMU and Houston), plus UTEP and North Texas. Rice has Texas A&M and Baylor at home on future schedules, and we have hosted Texas and Texas Tech.

I don't think A&M or UT would dodge any Texas G5 school, except Houston. Some old bad blood there.

Personally I think 11, but I also think it could easily be 10, or the SEC could easily get 4 in access/playoff.

I'm not assuming that...

CFP committee disagrees. 3 in playoff and Alabama lurking at #5 at this point. I doubt that changes at all. SEC will have four in access/semis.

Bama was #6, Oregon is #5.

You do not expect the SEC teams to knock each other out of contention? I mean all these SEC top teams might get 2 or more losses by the time SEC championship game is finished.

I think one out of Bama, Miss State, Ole Miss and Auburn will make it out at 11-1 at worst and if Georgia can beat Auburn that would put two 11-1 squads(or one 11-1 and one 12-0 if Miss State wins out) in Atlanta.

RE: Bowl Analysis - Week 9
I have seen crazy predicitons like 5 SEC teams in Access Bowls, however I think 2 will make the playoffs and 2 will fill non-playoff spots. The committee showed their favoritism to the SEC when they placed Ole Miss in the playoff after a loss to LSU.

Georgia won't win the SEC. The SEC East is least.

They've looked pretty good the last few games with the nation's best player suspended.
