We meet again, Troy.
Been looking forward to restarting this series. Probably have more history with Troy than any other Belt team minus App State. I was just a little kid when we got shut out at home but still remember it. Went to our first-round playoff game in Troy as well.

Wish you guys were your normal selves this year. Sort of.

We meet again, Troy.
Should be another great showing for the SBC on Thursday night. Unfortunately FSU an UL are playing on ESPN, and the entire country will be tuning into that to root against Winston and Jimbo.

I like our chances but I'm not convinced this is a beatdown. The showing against South and NMSU wasn't terrible, and I can give Troy the benefit of the doubt that they weren't expecting App to come out and run the ball all day.

You may very well lose big, but if your quarterback has a pulse and a halfway decent arm you will score some points.

We meet again, Troy.
This, outside of curb stomping state, is the SBC game I have been looking forward to since the announcement.

I have a huge amount of respect for TROY and have been a closet fan since their first SBC championship. I hate to watch LB's career end the way it is ending but I know TROY will be back soon!

I am looking forward to my first trip to TROY next season!

We meet again, Troy.
Hopefully we can pack north of 20,000 for Thursday night. This is a game where the students and local community are going to have to show up. Atlanta folk just had their weekend, very few will make the quick turnaround I anticipate. How many Trojan fans are expected to show up?

Enjoy the pummeling your offense will put on Troy's defense. 70 points won't be out of the question. No, really. If Appalachian State can score 54 points in EASY fashion against us, we will be lucky to keep you guys from scoring over 60.

40 years ago, I met this girl at band camp at Troy... she was my date for the State game and we planned to go to the Troy game this year when the move to the Sun Belt was announced. Sadly, a Thursday night game, jobs, and chemo (last treatment....yayyyy!!!) are conspiring to keep us away. Won't keep us from watching on TV though. Our son will just have to be extra loud in person to make up for us!

I was loving this story until I came to the chemo part. I am so sorry but I hope you are in remission now. If we play Troy two years from now, you two can relive that date.

You know that is the really painful part......not all players have......Chandler Worthy and Tyler Roberts just to name two.....but its got to be really hard on seniors who hate for this to happen.....cause when they came we had been on a roll and if red shirted were here in a different time.......
I too think we will lose big....but for the sake of the few who have not cashed it in....I hope they put up a good fight....

Looking forward to a great game and a renewed rivalry!

Troy fans - will any of you be making the trip over to the Boro?

3 of us coming.

I'm not a Troy fan because of wins and losses.

Not me... her, but she's doing very well. We went to the State game Saturday and had a great time. We're hoping to go to Troy next fall.
