She actually did go to CMU. And she was quite dumb.

Goes without saying.....

I know for us it does, but for the few CMU fans that come to visit here I just want it out there to remind them. She had no business getting a college degree from anywhere.

D@mn, the more I hear about her the more I like her....

I miss her.

What else would explain that extreme obsession and bitterness? I'm thinking she crushed your heart in a vice and this is your way of coping. 03-drunk

RE: Justice is served
I don't fully blame Rawls. He had no problems in A2, but then A2 is a culturally diverse town with intelligent people and a coach who dealt with behavior issues quickly and appropriately.

Mt.Pleasant on the other hand is full of mouth breathing northern rednecks, and losers trying to parlay their last dime into this months rent payment. It's not as if there was a lot to keep him occupied. Throw in the Enos culture of lax discipline and few consequences, and even a fine young man can become a worthless purse snatching pig.

I forgive you Thomas. Get well soon.

Arrow has linked this thread to Slappy Illy. I'm just trying to show some empathy for their plight. They're snapping at each other as if their house of cards is tumbling down.

Guys can change their minds. If I can row the boat then Chip can feel empathy for the Chimps. Change is good.

Absolutely Dirty. It's not Rawls fault, it's the culture of corruption in Mt.P. It's a town built on gambling, debauchery, and hunting squirrels. It's like Potterville in "Wonderful Life." Even George Bailey would get corrupted up there.

Our turn? I'd bet every last penny I have that if Franklin were convicted of a crime, he wouldn't be back on the team and practicing the next day.

I'm not shocked by the Rawls crime. That stuff is becoming every day news. I am shocked by how Enos handled it, and I HIGHLY doubt Fleck, or any other MAC coach would do the same.

Win or lose against them, not a big deal. We're building a nice foundation here. Enos is floundering by the skin of his teeth just to stay employed. He knows he has to do it this year, and he just lost one major piece of the pie. He loses Davis and Rawls after this year. He's gotten killed in recruiting the last two years. Fleck owns him and is DEEP in his head. Chips will likely go at least 7-5 this year and will be stuck with him. Next year he'll be battling EMU for the cellar.

I've picked us to lose almost every game, even though I want us to win.

You've picked us to win every game, even though you really wanted us to lose.

Why change now04-rock

I don't want "us" to lose, never have. Still waiting for our "serviceable qb" to be benched so Stewart will be playing by October. That was a great one. 03-2thumbsup

Yes, you did. 05-nono You wanted Fleck to show himself as a guy who couldn't coach. Now that that's been dispelled you have no choice but to get behind the team, and keep up the feigned outrage about his messaging, hair, personal life, etc.

Wrong slappy, I predicted four gimmies, and at least two more wins before the season started. What I got was pushback from his orchestra on how unreasonable I was being, I fully expected a guy in the second year of a rebuilding effort to beat Murray State, Idaho, EMU and Miami. I also said in typical MAC fashion that we would take a couple of more, which we have.

Let's just quit this trying to position me for your "web board" reign here. I won't threaten you, or even point out that if you add up all of your id's (even just the openly CD/CD1/CD2 one's that you have the most posts by far here.

Difference is, unlike you and your sheeple of followers, I don't keep players names handy and build a case before hand to blame for losses. One minute it's ZT, the next it's Halderman, the next it's our "overrated DB's" in your words.

That's not being very nice or a good fan of the program. It's about you being right on a web board which is so important to you, and mean spirited.

We've been over this DB. You picked lots of wins, so that when they didn't materialize (which you were sure they would'nt) you could gloat and say, "See, we should have won those games, but we didn't. He's incompetent."

It was your fall back position.

It didn't pan out. At this point he's exceeded expectations. You have no choice but to pretend you want him to win, and throw in that stupid qualifier, that "If he wins he's gone, and we couldn't keep him anyway."

You deposited all of your WMU football capital in believing he'd fail miserably, and now you're account is tapped out, and you're trying to hang on to a few investors (suckers) who want to stay on board with you. Each day, your fellow investors are jumping ship.

No "we" weren't over this, this is your predisposition and you're flat out wrong, AGAIN. Right up there with your predictions of our kicker ruining games, our DB's being overrated, and Stewart starting at QB by mid season. (Don't you get tired of your predictions coming out to make you look like a bozo?)

I had nothing but the expectation that he would win four for sure, six most likely in the second year, and yes, I expect us to beat Miami. It was you Eyoree type losers who were playing both sides of it and not predicting any type of success. To afraid.
