The Word is Out. It is Okay to be a Thief at CMU
Yet another player/criminal CMU football player.
They have another player in trouble with the law.
Redshirt freshman receiver Eric Cooper has been accused of stealing a cell phone.
They seam to have established a precedent for their team in that a player can do what ever they want as they will always be forgiven. God help the citizens of Mount Pleasant!

Quote: According to CM Life, Eric Cooper has been indefinitely suspended by the team for "a violation of team rules." The Mt. Pleasant Morning Sun reports that Cooper pleaded not guilty to a charge of theft

the team rule certainly isn't' don't steal, so it must be always plea your charge down. Plead not guilty? it's time to feel the wrath of Enos!

"OK, son. 250 pushups, 25 grassers, 100 up-downs and you are suspended for a half a game and must promise me that you won't do this again until you're done at CMU. Got it? 05-mafia

Oh, and what date and time is your court appearance? It doesn't conflict with our game, does it? Ask your lawyer to try and get that changed."

Re: Cooper suspended
I agree coach did not steal anything so hard to pin it on him. But if they see players getting away with it and they get to still play it sends a message like it is no big deal.

I stated that EXACT same thing on the MacConference forum and CMUDOC told me I was a terrible person for harboring such an opinion. Takes awhile for a Slappy to get the idea. None the less, they'll be cheering ever Rawls run until he's gone, and then they'll lament how he was bad for the program.

Of course, nobody around here is a big enough rube to think that things aren't covered up at home...... Are they?

I really don't want to throw stones here, though.

With that said, CMu does seem to have an issue. 03-lmfao

Sickening watching them try to justify this for the FOURTH time:

Quote:He just needs to plead and then get reinstated.

Quote:This is just an allegation at this point

Quote:I see no correlation between these arrests and Enos.

Come on Hoke be honest, all but one of those comments was made with sarcasm. Even the Slappies are feeling awkward about this stuff, but in Rawls case they're happy to look the other way. However they are trying to justify it by pointing out that it's happening everywhere.
