Big Props to UConn's D
You guys played tough, and did everything to keep our receivers in check...which is no easy task. Gave up a lot of yards but not too many TDs. It's the score that matters. I'm glad we won but can see why your D is highly ranked in many categories.

F the refs for calling way too many penalties on both teams.

Great game. Thanks for the kind words.

Your D made some huge adjustments as well. UConn basically showed a nearly entirely new offense which allowed them to capitalize on some big plays. Those plays didn't happen when the game was on the line and credit to ECU for stepping up.

I wish Reuben Frank would have been able to make that tackle on Carden on 3rd down to hold ECU to three points and instead only be up 6. I would have loved to see what UConn could have done in a two minute drill - something we haven't done or had to do all year.

I hope ECU crushes everyone the rest of the year. Good luck to your guys.

Thanks. It was a great game. I'm glad our boys showed a little life and didn't let you embarrass them on national TV. I think Diaco has us going in the right direction and next year will be his first real recruiting class, so hopefully we really start to put it together next year. It would be nice to get a couple more W's this season and we have a few chances, I think.

That defense has talent. That was obvious right from the start. The game plan was also really good. There were a couple of really well disguised plays by the OLB that nearly resulted in pick 6's. If the UCONN offense can continue to show flashes like they did last night that defense can give you a shot in every game you have left going forward.

Cue DEFCONN to claim you are being disingenuous.
