and ive watched all the memphis games lynch throws those same types of passes versus everyone not just the houston game, houston just made plays on them. i watched him throw numerous balls versus cincy and usf..but when your recievers catch them, it shows how great you are...but when you plays a team with great dbs and makes plays on them, it must be an anamoly
So you watched us play USF this season huh?
If you seriously think Houston forced 5 turnovers that game you're out of your mind. Also on the turnovers I mentioned no Tiger could have made a play on the ball. Congrats on winning the game, but you beat Memphis by 4 when we had 5 turnovers and our QB had probably the worst game of his career turnover wise.
I validated my rankings. If you don't like it too bad.
Shrug. He had those turnovers because the routes that worked against the slower Temple secondary weren't open against us---he had to hold the ball longer and there was a lot of pressure on the pocket.
If you want to disregard turnovers---fine. Then throw out the UTSA loss as well---we had 7 turnovers in that game and give us the UCF victory as well since a turnover at the half yard line with time expiring cost us that game as well.
Disregard them if you want too for your own personal rankings lol. If you list Memphis #11 that's your opinion.
This is MY reasoning for putting Memphis at #2 this week. Nothing less, nothing more. This is all my opinion and what I believe...
Same for everyone elses rankings listed in this thread.
Sit back and enjoy the season!
lol. I don't have Memphis at 11. I would put them 4th. The Tigers have a solid team that I fully expect to win out. That said, to a degree, we are all guilty of seeing what we want to see at some time or another.
Indeed we are!

But, Memphis has the "easiest" path to a AAC championship as they have Tulsa, Temple, Tulane, USF and UConn. If ECU and UCF drop a game, Memphis could be in there as I can see Memphis winning out.
Oh wow. I didn't look at Memphis schedule till now. Memphis should finish this season with between 8 and 10 wins. So will Fuente bolt at the 1st "Power 5" job offer he gets?

I think it depends on the job to be honest.
Florida, Michigan. Yes.
Iowa State, Kansas. No.
He has a team coming back next season that should be a top 25 type team with a chance at a Conference Championship. Unless it's a can't pass up opportunity I just don't see it.

Probably not the first P5 job that comes along. I doubt he would jump to Vandy or Kentucky or Iowa State or Kansas, or such. But I'm sure he will eventually jump. Whenever that happens, we will certainly be a lot better off than when he came here.
