I agree. Right now we are a .500 team in and out of conference with wins over Austin Peay, MTSU and a Cincy team with a horrible defense. IMO the conference title talk AT THIS point is asinine

We'll get a shot at the conference title anyway, most likely. ECU isn't that good and will slip up along the way.

Marshall is going to get the access game as well, no matter what.

Heard a writer assigned to cover the selection process. He said without any reservation or doubt that Marshall would not be close. Schedule strength and overall ranking would make them good for discussion as a novelty.
