Quote:Dear wmutkelaw,
One can say they had a great college experience at any college. My time spent at Eastern was based on living on campus. That I think is the important criteria. If one spends very little time on campus (being a commuter), then I think the experience is diminished. So, in that sense, Eastern had a great collegiate experience for me. As many of you may also state about Western.

First thing I agree with you on, Ken. That's true. If a school has a real campus, it can be a good experience -- even if for many others it's not. It's how it resonates with the person, combined with some luck of the draw of where you're positioned. Some people didn't like MSU -- their campus is a blast. Depends on the people they run into & mesh with, although on any non-small campus, one can shift locations and their experiences will end up changing. And of course, the classes you take, the instructors you run into -- and how well that place handles your major among other things.

I have a severe dislike for EMU. There I said it.

I would go as far as saying that that I enjoy WMU beating EMU more than CMU.

I could go into my reasons for the dislike, it is deep. I won't bother. The dislike has nothing to do with you, personally. I am glad you had a good time at EMU.

Darn, I wasted my 1000th post on this...actually this is my 2nd time hitting 1000, as my posts regarding PJ got deleted.

Luke, you know there is a penalty for saying you hate anything more than CMU. You better post whatever you need to post before you get banned.

Luke? Banned?
