But sure to bring over flow stadium attendance and an easy drive for both, and hopefully a couple of Sun Belt wins over the ACC.

“As a resident of the area, it’s something that people have been whispering in my ear for years – how it would be great to get the Mountaineers back to town,’’ Mike Buddie, Wake Forest’s senior associate director of athletics said. “They’ve got such a loyal following, and a fun game-day atmosphere in Boone.

Note to App fans. Remember the name Mike Buddie.

Could he be in Boone in a different capacity in 2017?

Could be a possibility.....

Jealous of App's scheduling. It may take a few years before we can get P5 H/H.

We have more in-state FBS schools to choose from, and none of them are very good. You really only have GT and UGA to choose from (since you're already in a conference with GaSt.) and you can pretty much cross a school like UGA off the list for a H&H.

True. Regardless, it carries weight to have the title of having hosted a P5. We do have a more difficult battle in achieving that.

Didn't GaSo get the easiest Sun Belt schedule. I know App State was rated to have
the hardest. At least that's something.
Would think Georgia Southern will sign up to do a home and home with some P5 sometime this year or next. Would think Miami or Georgia Tech would be likely to agree to a H & H.

I just glad it's not UNC-CH. I would rather see student athletes from Wake than a bunch of posers from UNC-CH that get grades handed to them without attending a class.

Agreed, I'm hoping once the sanction wagon sets up shop at UNC CHeat we can steal some of their in-state recruits/targets. I was at the ECU game last night and this was all the rage. Pirate fans think the time is now to raid all of their people in this recruiting class.
