Yeah Memphis has enough wings at the moment and we are after some high caliber players in 2016. Vick just got caught up in a numbers crunch. I think the staff is focusing on just bigs right now. We have top 50 big Ted Kapita on an official right now.

What happen with Elijah Thomas? A&M really? Do they even know they have a #2 class?

Hell, we can't keep all the talent in Memphis. Memphis is the the per capita ground zero of talent.

Memphis produces solid basketball players. But per capita, right now, is the New England Prep School league. They are just stockpiling talent.

Not that we'll get Kapita (Billy Donovan seems to lead) but don't be fooled by Kapita's PF label. Kapita's major asset is that he's strong --- and you don't waste 6'10" and "strong" on the wing IMO. Plus we're leading on Skal who is a wing and 6'11" --- a true PF.

If you say so. I'm just somewhat talking out my ass. I think Iverson tears up this year and I have respect for UConn.

I think that prep school league covers a lot more territory than the Memphis/Shelby County school system leagues do. I think that there are prep schools from several states in that league.

The Memphis area produces a lot of basketball talent and turns out tons of D1 basketball recruits. Other areas will also produce talent and in the peaks and valleys of when talent is produced, I'd expect other areas to surpass Memphis' output at times. We've been fortunate, but Memphis won't always be the top producer of college basketball talent....in my opinion.
