Touchdown Toledo, that'll probably do it

toledo gets a pick and this one is over. Toledo is lucky they got Hunt back this game, otherwise they probably lose it. Umass will not be giving us any help this year.

After watching this game I fear EMU more than Central. UB is blitzing at will. They're down 6 in the 4th, but frankly UB is terrible, and they're still in it.

MHB - Thanks for doing this (for years now). Nice when someone adds actual value to the site. I can't say that I add any, so you make up for my shortcoming.

Well at the end of the day we're all just a week older and no closer to a MAC west title. Oh well still a great day in the MAC anytime we get a W for WMU.

RE: Around the MAC 10/25
I was so hoping for a UMass win, but as surprisingly decent/good UMass is for a 2-win team, you can't expect them to win in the Glass Bowl. They very well may have pulled that off at home.
Toledo WILL lose a game (BGSU and/or NIU). If we SOMEHOW beat @CMU, and NIU -- and go 7-1 in MAC play -- I wouldn't mind being tied with Toledo despite not winning the Mac West. Not. At. All.

You guys give WAY too much credit to NIU. I'm telling you, they are not good. Their record is deceiving. Ball State is going to blow them up next week. NIU has played three worst teams in the MAC in Eastern, Miami, and Kent, and they struggled against all of them. They played one good team in CMU and they got blown out at home.
Yeah, they'll always go back to the Northwestern game as proof that they're legit. Problem with that logic, is they haven't built on it. Teams have film on them, and people know how to defend the perpetual jet sweep minus Lynch. Everyone will play man on NIU and they'll sit on the run.
Take it to the bank NIU are the biggest frauds in the league.

Yup.
I think there are bigger issues going on there (NIU) within the program.

I'm not so sure that it is much bigger than finding a stud QB, the one player that made that offense so potent because of the threat he posed. They are searching but I don't think that the guy is in their program right now and without him, they look rather mortal.

What would those bigger issues be that you're insinuating? Help us out here. We aren't so "on the know".

The fat QB N. Illinois had last year was pretty good for being out of shape. They miss him and I think that is great.

Really, lucky? I would say WMU is lucky not losing Terrell or Franklin for a significant part of the season. Rockets were a bit rusty coming off the bye week. Spotted UMass 3 TDs, UT adjusted their coverages(rushed 3, dropped 8) and outscored UMass 35 to 15 for the rest of the game.

You don't have to be so defensive. I believe UMASS' QB is #2 in the country in yards? Your team did what it needed to do!
Good time to talk about statistical leaders for a second.
JF is the #5 RB in the country in yards; number 1 in TD's (by a couple lengths! What a Bronco!)
Corey FREAKING Davis is now the # 9 (#9, #9#9...) WR in the country in yards with a bullet! Braverman is 37.
ZT is # 15 in completion percentage in rating. And ollllllld noodle arm is # 13 in yards per attempt!!
GO. BRONCOS.
