Ratings and having a strong local affiliate also influence which games get picked up. UAB is lucky to have 3 Sinclair affiliates in Birmingham.

And most of all: the ENTIRE conference tournament will now be televised.

This means that only two of UTEP's road games will not be on television in El Paso.

Those are both going to be good games. I was hoping they would also be in TV

I think our strong attendance is one of the attractions of broadcasting ODU home games. A packed house makes a broadcast a million times more appealing for TV. I also think ODU games get good ratings in the local market. We're a big deal in Hampton Roads.

It's better than the 3 that USM got picked for. But considering that expectations aren't very high from many USM fans this could be a good thing

great arena, I was lucky enough to watch UTEP play at Old Dominion this past february. Great fans too!

You've also got a buttload of people who live nearby. I was surprised at the population numbers there, without a competing U (same level or above) in the area.

We have high expectations this year? I thought we were figuring with all the transfers and the loss of DT to be replaced by "Mr. sLOW IT DOWN", our expectations got tempered pretty heavily? (Our 20-win season streak I believe is in trouble this year).

Basically the only games we got were vs. ODU....We have a pretty good home atmosphere but I guess ASN did not think so with only 2 home games selected...

I'm happy for Miner fans in El Paso since they will see a boat load of away games but no home games on ASN for the Miners either. UTEP has a pretty good home atmosphere too so I guess that is not a criteria for their selection of games.

We've got 11 games on TV so far. That's more than I ever remember.

I was looking at USM's schedule and realized that we currently have 7 total tv games and the thing I like is that only 1 is a home game which means I get to see more total games as I wil be at most if not all of the home games to begin with.

Nice. I dont think I've ever seen a TV lineup with more Marshall games in the past.
