Yep. If C-USA gets the Indy bowl, that bowl has a better date. Only 1 day later but it makes a big difference at Christmas time.

The New Mexico Bowl has a very good date for travel by west division teams.

The Hawaii and Bahama Bowls won't get a lot of traveling fans regardless of the date they are played.

I would prefer a bowl game in the central time zone. I really like the New Mexico Bowl and have been impressed with what the Bahamas Bowl is trying to do, but with three youg kids, travel is tough.

Would be nice if CUSA could get backup to the Birmingham BOwl since that is in the middle of our footprint and would make the central/eastern teams happy and balance it out a little between east and west....Western teams are set up much better for travel with all of the bowl games vs. the eastern teams.....Not even sure why I am in this discussion as the only bowl WKU is going to is the Toilet Bowl this season...

With all due respect, you're absolutely insane. Zaxby's is far better than Canes. I only know of one Zaxby's within a 20min drive from me but 10 Cane's within that same distance or closer. I'll gladly drive that stretch to get Zaxby's instead.

I do like Canes. I remember Todd Graves back when it was a Baton Rouge thing. He was always cool. However, what Chick Fila has done for others is extraordinary, and i'm not getting political. I'm talking about some of their charitable work. I will certainly give Zaxby's a try though

Will never happen until the $EC leaves it, they booted us out of the Liberty Bowl as well. The $EC can't lower themselves to play a "lesser conference" (regardless of how good the team/conference actually is) in a bowl game much less have a chance of UAB playing UAT in one.
