Sort of head scratched though, or am I wrong?
Wrong. Ok though, you can't get them all right.
It's not a head scratcher, but the numbers are starting to get interesting.
We'll be full on scholarships for 2015. We currently have 12 scholarship players, allowed 13 I believe. If that's the case then we graduate Godfrey (giving us 11 scholarship players - 2 free schollies) and sign lawson and Skal.
So we'll have 13 scholarship players to start 2016. We would graduate: Burrell, Goodwin, Hawkins, and Kedren. We then replace them with Broddie, Lawson, Marshall, and Fisher (?).
Obviously, a lot can happen between now and 2016 so it's not something I waste time thinking about. Shaq could leave early (pro or grad transfer). Austin or Skal could leave early, opening a spot or 2. Kuran could transfer, since he would be able to RS and have 2 years somewhere else. Someone could cuss and get thrown off the team...who knows.
But taking a 2016 kid this early must mean the staff likes him and will work the #s out later.
I thought both Lawsons were now 2015??
Yep
Brain fart.
