sounds about right...12-6 in the AAC would put Memphis around 23 regular season wins going into the AAC tourney.

RE: SI AAC Basketball Preview... with projections
It’s going to be interesting to see how quickly USF adapts to our new up-tempo style of play but we have a nice core of returning starters with Chris Perry (F), Anthony Collins (PG) and Allen Jr (SG). Plus a couple kids who redshirted last year that fit in better in Antigua’s system than they ever would have n Stan Heath scheme.

Collins is completely healed and if he can return to being one of the better BigEast point guards status of two years ago…that would be a big boost. USF got really lucky in stealing Chris Perry from a bunch of teams and this kid is poised to have a BIG year. Corey Allen is supposedly thriving in our new system without Heath’s very deliberate style of play.

So it remains to be seen if a team led by this trio is worthy of being dubbed worst in conference.

.SMU big man Markus Kennedy's status is uncertain. Larry Brown said he's working "to get back on track". More to come at SportsDayDFW,com.

LB cont: "make the progress needed to regain his eligibility and get back on track to earn his degree. Right now, nothing is final, as…"

LB cont: "eligibility status can change at any point. Either way, we have a very talented & deep group & are looking forward to the season."

Nor should we. We got 4 starters back, another guy who was starting before injury, and a guy that started at Florida State. We should be in the mix for 6th place. You can't tell me UCF looks better on paper at this point. They were just as bad last year and lost two guys that were in the NBA summer league.

Good Grief. Why do you have to use my tongue in cheek response as a start of the pissing match between you and the entire UCF fanbase?

Good Grief. Have you even read the majority of these UCF fans. Most of them know their team is rebuilding this year. We shouldn't be rebuilding to the same degree and infact return one of the most veteran teams in the league that should be better than last year. What's the big damn deal pointing out to little punks like you talking us down. It's people like you running around making these pathetic jokes of our program about being happy not being last that make this program look bad and perpetuate all the piling on to begin with. Congrats

You can not like any projection that involves Guilmette and health. If he is healthy then ECU might be pretty good, but just like Daquan Joyner; Guilmette is never healthy.

Again, what does my post or this thread have to do with UCF? Why are you so threatened by them?

My post, not that you would understand, was simply tongue in cheek because we heard for years that if we were ever brought into the then, Big East, now American, that we would be the doormat of the conference. I was simply pointing out that in our first season, we aren't picked to be last.

Do you understand that, Mr. Inferiority?

Seriously. That's what you got out of my post 03-lmfao. I'm not, they look pretty awful if you want it more bluntly and I can pull a dozen other UCF fans that said the same thing on the other thread. I just think it's ridiculous to have them ranked ahead of ECU when you look at the losses and additions both teams sustained.

Buddy you are the one having a hard time understanding my frame here even what your sorry jokes perpetuate.

12-6 in the AAC would be a disaster for the more delusional fans we have

SJ, what are you arguing? I've seen previous seasons where you've said "we're returning X, Lebo is in X year, we shouldn't be as bad as predicted." only to follow up with "just because we should be better doesn't mean we will be."

Will we be decent or no? That's all I want to know...

Seriously SJ, would you please on behalf of ECU and the rest of the known universe stop posting on any message board sans the cat fancy one you post on? Actually, don't post there either. I am sure you get in pissing matches about how your 37 cats are the smartest cats in the world and how all other posters' cats are well below your's in RPI.
