I've got charter cable, and the games that get picked up show on my chartertv app. So I can watch the games on my phone, and put another game on the tube.

I love how our former conference mates rip ASN talking about crappy graphics and poor TV definition. Fact is there are more CUSA games on TV than AAC games. And we don't have to hear about P5 games during CUSA broadcast games.

Hell our former mates say it's better to have some tv coverage than no coverage at all. So now we have great coverage and still got chit to say....lol.

Between ASN and several Fox Sports channels, FIU will have 11 of their 12 games broadcasted. ASN coverage is a lot more widespread around the nation that I thought as well. Not even close what we used to get in SBC in terms of TV broadcasting.

Your ISP could be throttling video streams to keep you from getting full HD video.

You could be paying for a great tier of internet, but they can still throttle speeds for any content they want to. It's awesome not getting the speeds that you pay for, so please be sure to vote for anyone that opposes net neutrality so this can continue.

I was texting a friend in Mississippi that was having the same trouble. Did not have that trouble with the ESPN3 game.

Agreed... there hasn't been a week yet where I didn't have the opportunity (between FOX and ASN) to watch no less than 3 C-USA games in any given week.

Same with USM....11 of our 12 games will be broadcast with the only 1 not being on TV was the Alcorn St game and they are FCS

I like ASN. I think they do a decent job, the coverage is pretty good and its a lot better than listening to the radio or buying a school's crappy internet feed for a month when you only want to watch one game.

Uh, what? Virtually every AAC game has been on TV.

This weekend every game is on an ESPN channel (not ESPN3) and Temple/UCF is on CBS Sports Network.

And that includes really valuable past coverage such as Thursday/Friday night primetime games.

I also like being able to catch the replays on ESPN3...

RE: American Sports Network
Content is moving the way of live events (especially over syndication - especially given the proliferation of stream upon demand and cheap boxed DVD sets of entire shows), so sports properties are becoming preferred programming. They're not as expensive to produce at a passable level as some time filler shows are (lots of unused footage and editing on those), so they're becoming more attractive as the price of A level content goes up (and availability goes down).

I think the trend is going to be towards nearly all FBS games being broadcast in the very near future, and a good number of mid major basketball games as well. This is great or overall exposure for the league, but it will likely cause a short term drop in attendance.

So let me break this down for you, not virtually every AAC game has been on TV. But virtually every CUSA game has been on TV. You AAC'ers can rag our coverage, graphics, and visuals but fact is the games are on TV.

So CBS Sports Network coverage is great now? Funny how that works these days. When you guys were in CUSA, CBSSN sucked because you had to get a special tier package to view the games.

It is what it is.

Found out yesterday that DirectTV does not show these games in El Paso. I guess I'm going to have to by some rabbit ears.

Anyone have a suggestion?

And I noticed on last Fridays "really valuable" coverage they had you on ESPN2 and the MWC game ESPN so I can only assume that ESPN, which you have an "amazing" contract with sees MWC > AAC

Uh, yea, and the weeks prior had UCF/BYU and UCF/Houston as the only primetime ESPN games on Thursday night.

Last I checked, ESPN2 is still part of ESPN?

Also comparing Tier 3 to Tier 1 rights there. If people can't grasp how great ASN is for TIER THREE TV RIGHTS just stop arguing with them.

Because ESPN is far and away the most viewed sports network on TV?
