See that viewership for UCF/BYU? 1.34M viewers?
Now go down below and see how many P5 matchups that beat out, inclduing WVU/Texas Tech on FS1. They don't list CUSA viewership ratings but I'm going to guess it's far below Big 12 ratings and more in line with AAC ratings on Saturday. The best AAC rating on Saturday night was ECU/USF with 320K viewers.
Now, what is 1.34M - 320K?
Hell, UCF/BYU was closer in ratings to FSU/Syraacuse than to any G5 games.
The week prior, for UCF/Houston, it was clearly the most watched "G5" matchup according to those ratings.
Do you get it?
This reminds me of one of those times when you ask somebody "what time is it? And they respond with "size seven and a half" You still haven't explained why that is so "really valuable" to UCF and the AAC. Is it "really valuable" in recruiting, fan support, what is it? Don't bother answering because I know what you're really trying to say.. " AAC is better just because and if you guys would just understand that we wouldn't have to keep coming over here and pointing it out to you. I get it.. I'm just not buying it so I'm out.
If you can't figure out why 1M+ more eyeballs watching your game than usual is valuable, then hoping to explaing this to you is a completely lost cause.
Well you can't figure out why it's "really valuable" to have 1M+ watching you on a Friday night when recruits aren't watching either because if you could you would have already explained it instead of continuing to change the subject.
For Christ's sake, THE GAME WAS NOT ON FRIDAY.

AMEN! All I know is MT will be on TV for B'Ball at least 8 times, and for 11of 12 F'Ball Games. While it may cause a few folks that might otherwise attend games to sit on the couch; TV gives us exposure to over a Million TV Viewers in Middle Tennessee, Northern Alabama, and Western Kentucky. ASN is doing an excellent job for CUSA! Can't say we got that same quality or exposure with ESPN3 in Sunbelt!

Of course he shouldn't because that doesn't help his argument...lol
