I'm glad they got rid of Austin's salary, wonder how good he would have been if the Boys had committed to the run?

Instead the offense is not only SB caliber but may be the best in the NFL. You can say Denver might be the best O, but they can't run the ball and that matters in the playoffs. Great QB's like Manning and Marino have always been vulnerable to physical teams that can run the ball and control the time of possession.

I thought they should have ran the ball more last year, but we didn't. Add Zach Martin in and now a good line becomes dominant.

The defense is off the charts better than they should be.

Go back to early last year, Denver's defense was pathetic, but they scored at will. The Cowboys offense was good, but it was predictable.

And just think, there were "experts" on here saying that kids from Millsaps would have started ahead of Leary.

Austin made a four or five year career based on two big games. Way overpaid. After that he was always hurt. He was clutch when he played but missed too many games where he was needed. I like this group of receivers the Cowboys have.

Yes, he is. Proud to see him out there wearing the star.

He is a restricted free agent this year, wonder if he will get a 2nd round tender?

He's a lock to get resigned at this point.

Gee, nice to see so many Cowboys fans on here. We live in Frisco, less than a mile from the new Cowboys World Headquarters being built here. The construction is now underway and moving along nicely. The plans for this are rather spectacular. Frisco is going to be the big winner. The stadium they are building will be used by the Cowboys for training but the City of Frisco can also use if for local high school football games. Frisco has decided not to go the mega high school route like neighboring Plano did and instead is going to have a lot of smaller high schools. With a city poplulation now around 100,000....there are 7 high schools in Frisco now.

Can you find specific threads where Leary was mentioned by name?

IIRC, there were some general blanket statements that we had kids starting at Memphis that wouldn't have played at Millsaps.

Sorry, I thought the statement had been that no one on the line would have started at Millsaps, but apparently two of the guys (unnamed) would have started for Millsaps. Still idiotic.

There are Cowboy fans every where. I'm willing to bet for every 5 NFL fans here in Memphis at least 3 are fans of the Cowboys, the other 2 are str8 up haters.

One of the best parts of being a cowboys fan are the jealous haters.

They are even jealous when we suck. LOL
