Wk. 9: Lines in the Sand
Can ODU AGGIE repeat his perfect week and win next week's "pickers' poll?" Will nastybunchretain his oh, so slim lead over the pack that follows in the cumulative voting. We have 5 conference games slated this week. One P-5 matchup, and our future mate, Charlotte is back in action. Here we go!

ESPN's roster of C-USA games this week can be found here:
http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/scoreboard...ekNumber=9

Again, this week, all games are on Saturday, October 25.

North Texas @ Rice (-13); 12:00 pm, ET; Fox Sports Network
UAB @ Arkansas (-21); 12:00 pm, ET; SEC Network; Watch ESPN
FAU @ Marshall (-26.5); 3:30 pm, ET; Fox Sports 1
LaTech (-12) @ Southern Miss; 3:30 pm, ET; American Sports Network
Old Dominion @ Western Kentucky (-12.5); 3:30 pm, ET; C-USA Digital Network
UTEP @ UTSA (-10); 7:00 pm, ET; American Sports Network

RE: Wk. 9: Lines in the Sand
And, here are my picks:

North Texas @ Rice: Rice is coming on strong and North Texas seems to have lost it's "Mean."
UAB @ Arkansas: Hogs, even though inconsistent, are too much for the Blazers
FAU @ Marshall: We owe a little something to the Owls after last year's narrow win in Boca.
LaTech @ Southern Miss I'm calling for the upset, putting the West in shambles!
Old Dominion @ Western Kentucky: I just don't know, so going with Home Team.
UTEP @ UTSA: Struggled with this one, too. Home team has advantage.
James Madison @ Charlotte: I think the Dukes are just the stronger team, and have a little something to prove against a team moving to FBS.

Utsa really needs the win Saturday to have any chance at being bowl eligible. I cannot see them dropping one more and then having to win both away games against Rice and WK down the rd.

By the way, I'm pick in the Blazers to best Arkansas. I really think they can do it. Arkansas has the longest "in conference" losing streak in the nation. The Hogs are ripe for an "out of conference" loss this week.

Good luck Blazers.

It is. I don't know how that happened. You'll see I correctly showed it as week 9 in my first post, but when I copied over the games for my own picks, it picked up the week 8 post. I can't figure out how to change it.

It is Week 9 folks

LaTech - I want USM to be good again but it won't happen against the dogs D. 4 turnovers will dash the Eagles hopes.
ODU
UTEP

I want to see how Rice plays against UNT.
