It was two posters, but that's ok. We didn't "shut down" the smack board. We moved to 247Sports and stopped supporting multiple boards.... for now. Some of us are working on that behind the scenes.

Very true. Had Georgia State not been as ambitious as they were, we probably stay comfortable in FCS. The rate of their ascension to FBS was very impressive and got our butts in gear. When they do get good at football I believe our rivalry (it is a rivalry in my book) can be a very good thing for the state of Georgia.

I hope the Georgia State Eagles throw bombs all day like the good old days of Kirk Rassle! Show those Southern Georgia Panthers what Great Atlanta Team Attack is all about.

BTW, glad you showed up. I wanted to direct you to the recruiting boards on ESPN to take a look at how many Georgia recruits are already choosing Ga Southern over Middle Tenn offers. I know you were only in grade school, but your older fan brethren will remember how Ga Southern came out of nowhere and passed Middle. The process has started again so you can see it this time around.

I know you were only in grade school, but your older fan brethren will remember how Ga Southern came out of nowhere and passed Middle. The process has started again so you can see it this time around.

Stealing recruits? I fully expect a fair number of signees in both classes to have offers from both schools. I'm not worried about Georgia Southern in the least, there will be years where we're better, there will be years that you guys are better. I've said in the past that I expect you guys to have a better start to FBS than we did, but as far as "passing" us goes, I'm not concerned. We're both likely locked into our respective conferences for the foreseeable future and while I won't say I definitely don't see us playing OOC, I'd say based purely on numbers and no one in either administration being from that era, I'd say it's more likely that we don't.

Also a possibility, but even playing a half dozen times in the next two decades would surprise me.

The smack board on the old PT got shut down before ya'll moved, so he's correct about that.
