Yeah, the score was 27-20 and we never got over that drum beating because Tech was little league at the time.
If your referring to 82 Bradshaw wasn't around then. We played Tech at home and lost the week after we beat Alabama in Bryants last home game. It rained like heck all weekend, my group invented the sport of balcony sitting by moving the couch and the keg outside.

Tech made a playoff run that year under Billy Brewer.

'82 the QB would've been Matt Dunigan....a CFL Hall of Famer.

This IMHO is a rivalry game so lines, records and everything else goes out the window. Both teams want it and have a lot to lose. Gonna be a great game.

RE: La Tech @ Southern Miss
Fans have to complain about something so my only complaint is that this game is at 2:30 PM. Granted it's suppose to be perfect weather Saturday (high around 80, low in upper 40's, and no rain), but I wish this could be a 6:00 PM start. There's always a better atmosphere at night as is with most stadiums. The one positive though with the 2:30 PM start is that there are several good games on tv that start between 6:00 and 7:00 PM CST that would keep many casual fans possibly from attending so it's a push. Looking forward to Saturday already 04-cheers 04-rock

2:30 PM might as well be a midnight game compared to the stupid 11:00 AM kickoff we had to endure at home last week. Talk about an atmosphere killer...

I love daytime games this time of the year. Nothing better the crawling out of bed and going straight to campus for the day.

RE: La Tech @ Southern Miss
I loved 2:30 Starts myself. You got to the tailgate about 10:30 a.m... you set up , you cooked, you drank. You went to the game with no down time.

You get a noon kickoff, no time to tailgate correctly. If you had the late evening start, if you started your tailgate early (like you should), you were worn down before kickoff even rolled around.

Yeah, about 13,000 fans as seen on tv is not only an atmosphere killer but an embarassment.

18,000 attendance. Southern Miss vs FIU last year at 11 am, 20,000 attendance. Both embarrassing. You're infatuation is cute. 01-wingedeagle

I know they announced 18k for this past week game, but there wasn't 10k there. It was an embarrassment.

I am confident that after we win this week to get us on a 3 game win streak and it being homecoming, we will have a crowd of 23k+ for WKU.

TECH's Defense will have to play the game of its life to win this game.

Stop being coy. You had over 500 yards of offense last week

And we were averaging 320/game before that.

Your defense won't have to play the game of their life to win.

They'll have to play well or relatively well, but let's not get crazy here.

We turn the ball over a LOT.

2:30 kickoff is a lot better than the 9:00 PM kickoff we had against La Tech a few years back which was the tropical depression/monsoon game
