Save your money and vacation time - it is very important for Tiger football to develop a good travel reputation, if we want bigger and better bowls (and perhaps even P5 conference membership) in the future. To a large extent, the future of our program is in OUR hands. Coaches, AD's and financial supporters cannot do it without us doing our part. Fan pride and loyalty played a great part in putting Miss State where they are today.

Good. Let UT play UAB in the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery.

FWIW, I'd love a MEM-UT matchup in B'Ham.

UT jumps offsides, Ole Miss' backup QB lobs one to the end zone on a "free play". Freeze called him over and told him to just hand it off (didn't want to score). Ole Miss didn't throw it again, and even when Dodson ran it in, Freeze was noticeable disappointed on the sideline. Even took an extra minute to explain it to Butch at midfield...

but keep on keepin'on.

I hear you, but what's wrong with taking a knee? I still don't think that last td pass against us was necessary. As classless as Tuberville is Fuente showed class in not punching it in at the end of the game.

You're right GA. If they think there is any reasonable chance we might win the game they will tuck tail and run just like they did for the 2004 game here. Since that day I've always thought they should add a yellow stripe down the back of their jerseys.

The reason why Freeze ran the score up on Memphis
Quote:I think some coaches also get offended by that. Driving down inside the 10 then kneeling says, "we know we can score, but we're not going to because we don't want to embarrass you," which in itself is kind of embarrassing. I think what Freeze wanted was to call a bunch of runs in to the line of scrimmage so it didn't look like he was having pity on us, but didn't run the score up either. Dodson felt differently, and our D didn't stop him. It is what it is. Either way, I think Freeze was trying to do the right thing.

We were playing our 4th QB.

3rd string RB

Had walk-on OL in with the 2's & 3's OL.

Those guys deserve game-day reps too.

If the D can't stop an off tackle dive at that time of the game, that's on them.

Don't be offended. Most Tiger fans here realize this...the ones with a misplaced and uncessary little brother complex are the only ones barking about Freeze.
