Tough to say, UCF's record isn't indicative of the type of team we are. As in, we aren't that good.

No kidding, but are there many teams in this conference that are better? I'm not sure. This is a down year for a lot of typically good programs.

1. ECU
2. Houston - The past few weeks since the UCF game have been impressive.
3. UCF - The past few weeks since the Houston game have not inspired confidence in me.
4. Memphis - Made it a closer game against Houston than...
5. Temple - The last of the truly decent teams in the American
6. South Florida - Shows flashes of brilliance and vast swathes of mediocrity
7. Cincinnati - Could maybe be improving on defense? Maybe...
8. Tulane - Nearly won against a bottom 10 UCF offense
9. Tulsa - Couldn't hold on with a huge margin lead over South Florida
10. UConn - No comment besides that they're better than SMU
11. SMU - I've lost all hope for this team winning a single game before their season ender with UConn

I'm sure you know your team better than I do, especially since I have hardly seen the Knights play this year, but you have arguably the best out of conference win, a couple of pretty understandable losses (the Penn State loss isn't looking that great but neither is ECU's loss to USCe) and seemingly the best in conference win so far.

Not sure if that says more about the conference or UCF but I think you guys deserve to be considered 2nd as of right now. I don't think an argument for 1st would be ludicrous.

RE: WEEK 8: Rank the AAC
I don't see how Houston is better than memphis. They didn't beat us. Our 5 turnovers beat us. Both teams were in their true form in the first quarter, and it was 14-0 Memphis and should have been worse than that. Then Memphis decided to start turning the ball over every possession. Play that game 10 times, Memphis wins 7.

Don't open that can of worms. Houston beat us fair and square.

that is weak reasoning...and if that flew for memphis, literally EVERY TEAM we play could say that

we had the most turnovers in the nation last year (10 more turnovers than the next closest team)..we are on pace to do the same this year...

why not make the same argument for temple and the 4 we got from them, hell why not remove every win we had the last 2 years...we force turnovers it wasnt some 1 time luck event....this argument is the equivlant of someone saying.."they made tackles thats the only reason they won" turnovers are part of our defense....

and that was wards first start at qb excuse the slow start

Too bad turnovers are part of the game. Houston also committed 3 turnovers themselves. FWIW, Houston only scored 7 points off the Memphis turnovers.

Their points off our turnovers isn't what I was getting at. We kept turning it over halting our drives. We were moving the ball at will then would turn it over. Take away those turnovers and we score more points. We also missed a few field goals. I'm being a sour fan. Leave me be.
