Houston is ******* garbage. They've played like ass all season. We played like **** and still should have won the damn game.

Y'all apologists can spin it any way you want. We should roll these next 6 games. If we don't, it wont be because we are playing elite competition.

You must be 1 of the 10-2 talkers. You look silly calling Houston garbage

A grown man poppin' collars looks silly, but you go right ahead J.

I've never said anything about record ever.

Houston is good! Face it

hard to argue with that

Only if Houston wasn't garbage

Again, Houston is not a good team. We had 5 turnovers and still nearly won.

Turnovers were the symptoms of the imbalances...not the cause. That's the only thing I don't get when football analysts cite them as the reason for a loss, any loss--and I'm not just talking about here.

Notre Dame has had many turnovers lately, for example.

Seems like a bandaid comment, when in reality it's more complex.

Paxton made some awful throws right to Houston defenders. Every turnover is different.

Yep...and why did he throw to them...? Where were our receivers in the equation? Did he not see that they were open?

Why did Lynch make some excellent throws into multiple defenders in the previous game as he was being sacked?

Notre Dame QB's interceptions/fumbles lead to 21 pts, but they still won.

I suppose some questions are not answerable in the conventional way, as to why there was not enough strength for victory in the last game. There were times our D did not look as strong as I remembered it either, especially as the Houston O marched us backwards down the field--not arguing, just saying.

Is it? I have no opinion on that either way. I am only looking at cutting down on turnovers no matter who we are matched against.

Edit: I quit watching last night's Houston/Temple game early on, when I got the feeling for how the reffing was going to be. In their effort to be accurate, the officials weighed in on the anal side, and therefore made mistakes. The mistakes set the game in Houston's favor early on from my perspective--not that Temple would have won, but they had more of a shot with better reffing.

Houston and Temple are both not very good. They aren't bad but they are not good either. Typical CUSA teams, er, oh I mean AAC teams. Each team plays nobody that can test them so they will get 6 or 7 wins. AAC is blah.

Careful, if you're right too much, more and more people start depending on you. I recommend purposely being
wrong on occasion.
