WHAT???

Sorry my post was not clear.

I was responding to the "Last year our size alone helped us beat wku and ASU on the road.". If A-State approached the game next Tuesday the way Harsin did last year(aand the Memphis games just to add insult to injury for A-State fans) , I would almost guarantee you UL would win. Also noted he fired himself as OC.

Our offense held the ball for over 40 minutes last year against stAte, not sure there is much ASU's offense could do about that... We never let them have the ball. We held the ball for 38 minutes last night. That's when size matters, if we keep our big boys up front on the field that long against an undersized but fast defense....we win that game every time. We will just wear you down.

You got a lot of help from Harsin continuing to try and run up the middle.

Anyone can win time of possession when the opposing team keeps going 3 and out. Though I guarantee you, that you will not be able to just wear us down this year. We're in far better shape than we were last year as a team.

Did your defense not have a chance to make us go 3 and out? It's a team sport, your defense could've given your offense the ball back instead of allowing is to run the same play over and over putting together a couple 7,8,9 minute drives. Your offense didn't help but your defense didn't get off the field either.

considering the defense somehow kept us in the game despite constantly battling field position issues and being unable to stay off the field for long because we were coached by an idiot, we did okay.

Its all moot though. We'll see what happens this year when our DL where most guys are around 230 pounds goes up against your 300 pound monsters. My bet is we fare far better than last year.
