Wow, I am a little surprised that the odds-makers are calling this game a push, with the home team getting the (-3) nudge.

Vegas respects us.

Our offense is going to shred them. The question is...can our D make the stops when they're needed?

If we can have a balanced offense with a solid running game, we can burn clock and keep their offense on the sidelines. I think they get nervous when it's not in the 40s

It's going to be a shoot-out. What we would have expected against Toledo, but the rain and all helped make it a lower-scoring affair, despite a decent amount of yards had for both teams.

BGSU is going to shred our D, and we'll shred theirs. It's good that they played a low-O Ohio team last week, so they may be a bit too comfy on D.

BUT, our O is going to have to show up for all 4Q. To win, it needs to be Good for all 4Qs, because they are going to score 6-14 pts in each.

We will need our special teams to ACTUALLY be elite.

I'm thinking 56-42 BG. Special teams are not special.

I may actually bet against that. Seriously. I know of an online betting site. A friend of mine owed me money for a Vegas hotel once. But I thought I was to be able to get a big discount or possibly free hotel from a friend at a fancy place, which was one of the reasons why he was wanting to go, but that didn't work out so well, so I just ordered him a room next to mine at a relatively cheap place. ANYWAY, I said don't worry about it -- but he wanted to at least end up paying me back. Well, fast forward to WMU @NIU last year. The point spread was HUGE -- and I knew the power of PJ (and cold cold air & snowy ground) would not have us lose by a huge huge amount.

So I put the $$ on that instead. I said, if I win the bet -- the online bettors just paid it for ya. If I lose, OK, you can pay me. I won! And yes, they sent me a check. They're a legit place.

I see Bowling Green barely, and I mean barely, beat UMass and Buffalo. . . .. . . . . .
And of course we all remember when the champs got blown out by Western Kentucky.

We figured out the "close win".

Why not take a GIANT step here and figure out the "convincing win"? That would be fun.

.... and barely beat Indiana (who beat Missouri the week after)... and solidly beat Ohio on the scoreboard despite giving up 500 yards to Ohio against their own 350 -- thanks to Ohio's 150 penalty yards in 16 penalties.

I agree that BGSU is no MAC "king". I would put Toledo closer to that. I see BGSU as DANGEROUS -- and they know how to win. And they seem to be more comfortable winning at home.

WMU is 5-1 against the spread this year. Lost Purdue, won the next 5.

BG runs about 21 more plays a game than the Broncos are use to. You don't want the Defense sucking wind with their hands on their hips late in the game.
