SBC players/ coach of the week
Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week: Fredi Knighten, Arkansas State – Knighten was efficient with both his arm and legs in the Red Wolves’ 52-10 win over Georgia State. He finished 20-of-26 through the air with 215 yards and three scores, and added 93 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week: Jamal Stadom, Troy – Stadom has an excellent day for the Trojans on Saturday, registering ten tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Sun Belt Special Teams Player of the Week: Chandler Worthy, Troy – With Troy leading New Mexico State 10-7 in the second quarter, Worthy returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown, swinging momentum back in the Trojans’ favor.
Sun Belt Coach of the Week: Larry Blakeney, Troy – The same week that the legendary coach announced that he would retire at the end of the season, he also picked up his first win of the 2014 campaign. It was undoubtedly an emotional victory for the veteran coach.
Sun Belt X-Factor of the Week: Matt Breida, Georgia Southern – Breida continues to produce at a high level for the Eagles. On Saturday, Breida ran for 155 yards on 19 carries in leading Georgia Southern to a comfortable win over Idaho.

Brieda and Ellison are Sophomores, glad they'll be around for a while. Got to see some highlights of Knighten, good athlete balanced attack. Glad to see Troy have some success this weekend. Now as far as the GS and Idaho game being a comfortable win, not as comfortable as we'd like. I can't speak for all of the GS folks but for the vast majority (at least of my Tailgate sampling), we are happy to be in the SBC.

RE: SBC players/ coach of the week
We don't have a coach of the week or X Factor of the week...but it was a good effort.
