Wk. 8; Lines in the Sand
10 C-USA teams are schedule this weekend, ALL with intra-conference match-ups. With Marshall and LaTech leading their respective divisions, it will be interesting how these games shake out and affect the conference championship game. Of important to this thread: can Nasty Bunch maintain his two pick lead over the rest of the pickin' pack?

All games are on Saturday, October 18. Here's the ESPN listing of games:

HEre are my picks for this week's match-ups. Some tough calls here, in my opinion:

UTSA @ LaTech: I've become a believer in LaTech, and UTSA is struggling
Western Kentucky @ FAU - A toss up. I'm not sure who the real Hilltoppers are, but I know FAU is tough at home.
UAB @ Middle Tennesse - This may be a whale of a game
Marshall @ FIU - FIU has a solid defense, but Marshall has too many weapons.
Southern Miss @ North Texas - Toss up game, but will take the home team.

La tech has too many weapons. They're very good when the spark plugs are cleaned.
Fau will win this game too. I saw the Fau-fiu game and it was obvious who was better.
Mtsu will take this one but it will come down to the last play.
