Yep, especially since we had him for a big loss.

By what measure? They got smoked 27-7 by freakin UT-San Antonio.......Guess they must be world beaters???

To give some perspective, Houston is a better team than Cincy.

RE: Tell me again how good we are???
Lynch just needs to learn basic ball handling to keep from fumbling. And, he needs to learn to throw a lot more accurately. Yes, these two will take a lot of work, as seen from the games this season. But, Memphis does not have the reputation to get a great QB, and Memphis is not in the SEC where most of the great QB's like to be in. But, for who Memphis got for not being in a Power 5 school, he is probably one of the better QBs sadly.

I am frustrated with Lynch at times, but he is a Sophomore, and hopefully, will just keep improving.

I guess, I should answer the question, how good are the Tigers? My opinion is that they are Top 25, just making inexperience mistakes, and it shows. But, the Top 25 have losses, and Memphis could still have a chance to break Top 25 if they blow out some of the other games and win the rest. But, that is more of a wish than reality.

To answer the OP, we're apparently good enough to have five turnovers to a decent team and still have a chance to win the game on the last drive. Houston is not great, and not terrible. They have had one bad game, and a few decent ones.

Look at their remaining schedule. They are in about the same position we are. They could be favored in all their remaining games.

And they are apparently going to be better, now that Ward has taken over as QB.

Both the TIGERS and Coogs are going bowling this year.

MEMPHIS at Houston next season will be a showcase game for the AAC.
