Ohio game start time
My kids are taking the ACT on Oct 25th, the day we play Ohio. The tests ends a little after noon I think, and I would like to take the clan to the game, but I can only pull it off if the game starts after 3pm. Its still posted as TBD on the website. Does anyone have any insight on the start time? The later it is the better, but there is also a hockey game that night (which we would also like to attend) so my fear is that it will be an ealier game.

That is kind of what I was thinking too. Hope we are both wrong.

Sorry Brovol, I'm still hoping for an early start so I can join my kids later in the day.

These late announced start times really cut into the attendence. At some point people need to make decisions about their options and plans for that day. If I call somebody to see if the want to go with us, first thing they will ask is what time is the game?

RE: Ohio game start time
If it's "MAC Game of the Week", I think it'd probably start around noon (being on ABC locally like the last few years). Maybe they took that away as part of the ESPN3 deal, I dunno. But I don't think they did, since there'd be no reason for TBA.

I was in Canada and watched the MAC game of the week on their ABC station at a girl's place (who I initially met in Vegas weeks prior). It was one of the only football games I could watch! Go MAC!

It's how it is done at all major levels of college football. TV dictates when they game will start. Why not just plan on going to the game on that day... no matter what the time is?

Well this guy and wife live in Greenville, he's an OT nut and wants to work 5 am to 10 if possible, and if it is a later game might want to score a motel room. etc. for me, yeah, I'm a Bronco nut and will go whenever, but not everyone is like us Stampede fans, they have a life, and like to plan out their day.

Hopefully it's not during the scUM-Sparty game. Pathetic

I was told that this is not a university thing but an ESPN thing.

I've got my season tickets for the game and also have a heated skybox reserved for the weekend at Kalamazoo Speedway. Definitely going to be some overlap between the two (unless it rains on Saturday).

RE: Ohio game start time
That sucks!!! I needed another hour at least. This is ending up as the worst home shedule ever for me and my efforts to get to Kalamazoo for a game. Just working out real bad. Its been a long time since my son and I havent caught a home game. We will be at CMU game, as that is only an hour or so from home, but we live for the games in K-zoo.

I still hate that the CMU game is late in the season. I better be able to score seats for the MSU game next year.

^Crap, I'm with you Brovol. Except I was hoping for a noon start. Kalamazoo Speedway has qualifying runs starting at 2 and racing at 4.

A noon start would have allowed me to catch the first half at least.

Gonna be a slightly hectic morning for us, too... running the Campus Classic, so that'll be done around 10am. Then need to go shower and head over to tailgate. I'd have preferred 3:30.
