So, not good. This is why we're going to lose by 70+

From the beat writer as one of the five keys. Don't expect any of these offensive linemen to play, so we're down to people who haven't played much and our depth is now strained on the line and we have DB's out, so Cato is going to throw for 600 yards...

An already wounded MTSU team got battered even more in the team's win against Southern Miss. RB Shane Tucker, OL Adam Stickel, OL David Adams, OL Daniel Stephens, CB Khari Burke and CB Jamarcus Howard – all of whom have started this year – missed all or part of last week's game and at least some of practice this week.

Earlier today my son who played college football and knows a little something about the GAME called me to say "What the #$@% with this 24 point spread? Is Marshall really Auburn? Does MT just %$#@?" I replied "Seems a little steep to me!" I guess we will see won't we CUSA FANS?

I'm just not buying that spread. The weather is going to be cold and rainy. And I don't think Middle is going into this game thinking they are going to lose. I still see a Herd victory, but if I was a betting man -- and sadly, too poor to do that -- I'd pick Middle and the points on this one.

Rain? It's rained at every home game so far this year.

Well we kept it with 7 touchdowns somehow. Where is that 40 point guy? And I don't won't to here any crap about how it could have been worse considering Marshall got every call to go their way this side of James Winston.

Have you made any comments about all the missed holding calls on your offensive line?

Pretty sure the penalties and yardage were even, at least till the game was well out of question.

actually, I was right. You didn't win by 24 you beat us by 25!03-puke
Of course, I thought the MT defense would at least get off the Bus and SHOW UP! And I didn't think you could play an entire game without at least 1 Holding Penalty on your Offensive Line! And, I didn't know that a Receiver could STEP OUT OF BOUNDS and come back on the field and score a TD ON THE SAME PLAY! LIFE IS A REAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE! Congrats to the Thundering Herd.

The receiver was forced out of bounds by the defender.

Marshall 8 penalties for 101 yards
MTSU 8 penalties for 101 yards

But you are right we got all the calls.

Yeah, you probably need to read an NCAA rule book. A receiver is eligible if he is forced out of bounds by a defender. If that wasn't the case, defenses would just push the wide outs out of bounds at the line of scrimmage and negate them each and every play.
