MGN: UNT's Offense
It's funny I never thought UAB's defense would be considered one of the better ones in CUSA.
But I'll take it!! Go Blazers!

The latest from Greg on the changing nature of the offense
I think the key to this game is going to be very much like our match up with FIU: how your defense addresses our offense. Or vice versa. Either way I don't see the other side of the ball mattering half as much (i.e. I take it as a given that our defense will give you a share of problems to deal with).
FIU figured out what we were trying to do on offense and came out, ate a sandwich, and sat on us. We literally could not move. Hopefully we learned a lot from that experience. We have certainly squared away our QB situation since then at the very least. Which is not to say that we are perfect there by any means, but more to say that we finally know what we want to be doing there. We know our limitations and are starting to discover some strengths.

Count me among those who thought UNT's defense would be a little better. That said, they haven't been *that* bad. 38 points to Texas has to include the short fields Greer left them and the pick-six. Indiana walked up and down the field but Georgia put up 600 yards last year.
I wouldn't be surprised if North Texas' defense dominated or was shredded.

RE: MGN: UNT's Offense
Just checked. You know this is our second ever meeting!
We haven't played since October 1995 when the Blazers went to Denton and secured a close 19-14 win.
I had just completed my undergrad degree that spring.

I'm right there with you. I still don't think we know what we have this year, especially on defense. The offense left them out to dry too much prior to DW gaining the start, and then we had Nicholls, who is terrible and IU who has a high powered P5 offense with the nation's leading rusher.
We will learn a lot on Saturday and I really have no clue how it will go.

It is very likely that a bowl game is at stake here.

The NT radio crew was talking about that in pre game. Worst part about must-win games is the hurt after you lose one
