About to drive to the Kinder/Oberlin area for work so I think I'll have to catch the game at the hotel or casino.

Watch your speed and watch out for the PoPos. Especially if you go past Oberlin or go anywhere near Pine Prairie.

Jeez what kind of work are you doing to be out there??

haha but They do have a sports bar inside the casino called Gumbeaux's that should be playing the game..that will be the only place to watch it in that area....whole lot if nothing there and yes do not speed especially if you have Texas plates :)

This game and my Bible Study start at exactly the same time. Gonna have to catch the 2nd half. Excited to watch some Tuesday night Sun Belt football though!

Awful night to try and compete for ratings:

NLCS Game 3 will be wrapping up
ALCS Game 3 will start at the same time
US National Team has a friendly starting an hour earlier.

Hopefully enough people are craving football this early in the week. I mean this is when the bowls bids and playoff races are starting to take shape. Ya its not the very first game of the season, but it is 2 teams better than ACU and GSU. And if baseball is typical, unless you cheer for one of the teams that are still in the playoffs, no one watches them until the world series and even then its games 4-7. I have no clue what you are talking about when you reference US National Team. Soccer was over in the summer and basketball finished a few weeks ago. NBA starts up in like 3 weeks and hockey plays when its cold outside. As far as I'm concerned, only one sport is playing right now.

Yes, much better to fight for viewers on Saturday when there are 40 other football games on. If you want to watch football there is only one option. Baseball will be on Saturday night as well.

Agreed. Most sports bars will all of them on. We're head to head against the KC Royals / Baltimore O's game. That's not nearly as sexy as the 3pm Giants/Cards game.

The World Cup was over in the Summer. Soccer runs year long. While the National team my have a Soccer exhibition, that's still a danger to draw a ton of viewers simply because its gaining popularity so quickly in this country. Not to mention its the thing that is on ESPN.

There's this misconception amongst Soccer fans that the Sport only takes place in the Summer, when in reality, it never stops.

You will always have competition when playing in prime time but for college football fans and college football recruits, there is only one way to get your fix tonight. Can't be concerned with trying to flip huge baseball and soccer fans.
