Tim Horton..Wow. Some of these names being batted around makes me think you should keep your old coach.

I think it's very unlikely

Just wasn't sure if that was an option. Your OC has been pretty good the last four seasons. Great passing numbers.

I think it had more to do with Corey Robinson. And he didn't even recruit him.

Bobo has been at UGA a long time so it might be time for a change. Plus he is never a highly desired candidate where he can pick and choose his offers. He has said he wants to be a head coach. Troy could be the chance for him to prove himself.

Notre Dame has an outstanding DC by the name of Van Gorder. Troy needs to go get him.

Guess all GaSo posters would personally write a letter of recommendation also.

I personally hope BVG never sets foot below the Mason-Dixon Line ever again. Damn yankee.

The only schools I would ever wish that upon are Georgia, Alabama, and Georgia State. In that order.

Thanks Tim. I hope you are preparing for the Mississippi State game this week. They are pretty tough.

(Just in case anyone is curious. A couple coaching searches ago, either Horton or one of his family members got on the Arkansas State board and talked him up for days, like message board posters had any say over a hiring.)

The thUGA folks would be doing backflips, it would let Richt off the hook for keeping him as his OC, and would eliminate one of the wait until next year excuses.

A lot of these coaching rumor web sites don't have a clue what Troy is thinking.... No one but Troy does. One of them stated Troy would most likely look to their OC as the next head coach...truth is he has almost Zero shot. He has not been liked here lately.

Eddie Gran (Cincy)
Jim Grobe (ex-Wake)
Ron Roberts (SELA)
Brian Jenkins (Bethune)

Don't know if he is even interested in a DI job but there is also Alcon State's HC Jay Hopson.

Not only is he white he has turned Alcon around in 2 years. He took a dumpster fire and turned them into 9 game winners in 2 years. His 1st 3 years have been 4-7, 9-3, 5-1 so far this year, with their only loss being to USM 26-20.

Like I said I don't know if he wants a DI job or not. I knew Hopson somewhat when he was an asst at Marshall (96-00). Always seemed to be nice and personable.
