Former SPC OL Reilly Gibbons leaves Stanford, will enroll at USF
Can play immediately.

Fri. October 3, 2014 | Rodney Page

Former St. Petersburg Catholic offensive lineman Reilly Gibbons has left Stanford and will enroll at the University of South Florida.
Gibbons, 6-foot-6, 290 pounds, was one of the area's top recruits last season. He chose Stanford over the University of Miami.

Gibbons did not participate in any practices for the Cardinal, according to his father, Shannon Gibbons. Shannon said the urge to come home outweighed staying at Stanford.
"We're a really tight family and he got home sick and wanted to come back,'' Shannon Gibbons said. "USF was the perfect place for him. They are happy to have him.''
Gibbons will start taking classes and working out with the football team in January. Shannon Gibbons said Reilly will be eligible to play for the Bulls next season.
