Kimbrow, a 4* RB out of Melrose, is transferring from Vandy to Memphis

Wait...for this season?
Negative.

Gotcha...didn't think you could do that.

He was probably the most explosive back that we had. I am really not totally sure about the depth at running back. Dorceus, Hayes, Lynch (QB) and Craft (WR) have gotten around 80% of the carries and yards and all but one touchdown.

Beyond Dorceus and Hayes we have only had 2 other running backs that have played. Both are freshman with only 27 carries between them. Most of those carries, 18 came in the 2nd half against undermanned Austin Peay. As long as we don't have another injury we should be okay.

Agree, we have an issue if we have another injury, but for now, I don't think it's a huge blow. Not like if we lost our QB, for example. And I'm assuming Hayes is okay, based on the little info Fuente gave out yesterday.

Hopefully Robert Davis can get some reps as well.

I heard that they were hoping to redshirt Davis, but playing him may now be considered. I think Jarvis Cooper, who runs with outstanding power and determination, may eventually become one of the better running backs that we ever had, but he is a true freshman and has yet to adjust to the speed of college ball. He sure got a good dose of it during the 2nd half of the Ole Miss game.

Unless we have another RB injury, we may not have to get to Davis. Tearris Wallace is likely behind Cooper, and Craft can play RB, too, actually moved there during summer practice, for awhile.
