One view from the Hokies
Have to admit that I didn't find this link but saw it in the comments under one of DD's articles.

Tech hopes to get back on track against Western Michigan

The writer lauded the balance btw run and pass, although he did mention the caliber of the defenses we've seen.

Quote:Obviously the #1 key to success against Western Michigan is stopping their running game, and that begins with stopping Jarvion Franklin. I haven’t seen Franklin or this Western Michigan team play, but those numbers jump out at you in a big way. The Hokies have to stop him, or it could be a long day for the defense.

In the next paragraph, the writer calls ZT a dangerous player. He can be dangerous ONLY if he doesn't lock on to one receiver. If he doesn't go through his reads and misses that our TE is wide open, he's not so dangerous but rather a liability and a gift wrapped turnover for a delighted VT defensive secondary. Hoping he's made strides in that area.

Hopefully, Zach plays a good game, shows growth and leads this team.

He zeroed in on the size of our OL, especially Rodriguez. Interesting perspective. Read the comments, too.
