Good Will Hunting
Mind if I steal that.
Thomas "Good Will Hunting" Rawls. Knocked out 43 credit hours at UM in 90 days, all while holding down a part time gig of shopping with stolen credit cards. If that work load isn't amazing enough Rawls had a round trip commute of over 200 miles just to find a victim to steal from.
Rawl's praised coach Enos for his compassion.
"Coach has given me chance after chance. First, he forgave me for lying, when I failed to tell him about being busted. Second, he overlooked my three felony charges and only punished me for one of my felonies. Third, between the lies and the felonies he thought I had suffered enough with my 2 game suspension, and has penciled me in to start on Saturday. He treats me as if nothing ever happened, it's so refreshing. Ive learned my lesson, and Coach Enos has made it clear. "Four......maybe five strikes........or possibly six, but six is it, then you're done!" I could tell he meant it."
Rawl's teammates were highly supportive. Teammate Saylor Lavalli said this to the Mt. Pleasant Morning Sun. "I've been busting my azz for two weeks trying to help the team, and that son of a b1tch shows up yesterday and is handed the starting job!"
Rawls is currently on track to complete his masters degree in Video Game Studies. Rawls is carrying 51 online credit hours and hopes to graduate before his Oct. 21st sentencing.

20 years old and was a senior at UM, all while play football the entire time!?!
What was his Major? Minor?
there needs to be an investigation into UM football as there is no possible way that any of their students could do this under normal circumstances.

Quote:So 2011 Freshman
2012 Soph
2013 Junior
2014 Graduate Student? OK is this where the 43 hours of UM credit in 3 months comes in? And he is studying at UM and doing 3 felonies at CMU during the same period? So confusing to the average fan. Can't make this stuff up.
Yes, it is odd. Thing is though, he's probably not a dumb guy, where the dumb-dumb classes set for guys who can barely read -- he can fly through. If I posed as a football player (kicker?) at any of our state's universities, I could probably stack a bunch of classes to wizz through without breathing hard, if I just wanted to stack credits.
And you have Spring & Summer semesters to stack up on credits.
Years ago, being a regular at a hot dog bar here in GR, I helped an older woman going back to college (yeah, she was hot; yes, more than homework was done) with her math homework. I was in shock & awe with what was her homework. Beginning of semester -- her first lesson was 17+14. Carrying the 1. It's elementary school work. Hardest stuff later on? 2 2/3 + 8 1/4. Stuff like that. If Rawls is a "smart" athlete, he could breeze through courses if he went to class more than 2 semesters a year, to finish up for his feebies on scholarship.

There are some two year offenses which, probably because some congressmans son was charged with one many years ago, our legislative body decided to somewhere in the statue described that crime as a "high court misdemeanor ". It's like polishing a turd. It's pure form, because substantively it's a felony. But btw, I don't believe attempted larceny from a building is one of those offenses. It's just a regular two year felony..

Well, let's put it this way... she was a tall blonde in her late 30s who used to do gymnastics, who I divided the legs and went through the motions of multiplying. Actual math problems were just a side-dish. We casually dated for a while... it faded back for a while, then I got into a serious relationship with a gal who I brought to the hot dog bar, and my new gf talked went up to her and talked (humorous) smack to her out of the blue.
She retorted by getting off her shift and getting off on my friend in his car outside my house. Tu che.
Anyway, going back to the original topic: College classes at any public university with a big athletic department can be very easy -- easier than the situation described above, most definitely! :)

Quote:You mean like stealing from Walmart?
The two WMU players didn't even leave the building with anything. One former/non-player did but left it in the lot. No anything stuffed in their pockets. If anything, IMO, it's an attempt of a minor to obtain alcohol for the players, and attempted stealing by the non-player.
Either way, there's a big difference than stealing a woman's purse and loading up a shopping cart full of booze and leaving it in the store.
